A lot of the people that come to Corona Beauty believe that having problems with skin is something that is unavoidable. Some even believe they have been “unlucky” or that they have a “bad skin type”. You wouldn’t believe some of the excuses that we hear by customers. Having clear skin is actually pretty easy once you are in the groove for it. Let us show you a few tricks that you can use easily in your day to day life.

Drinking water

seasonal_skin_careA lot of us don’t drink enough water every day, and that is one of the number one reasons why your skin may be dry, and even cracking. It shows itself for some people on their hands and forearms and for other people in the face and lips. It can be very uncomfortable to have the sensation of dry skin.

But you can change this very easily, if you are a fully grown adult try to drink ¾ of a gallon of water every day, that’s 3 liters for those metric heads of us. While your skin is still dry and improving you can help it along by using a base cream, this is a cream with no additives such as smells or any other products. These can be bought very cheaply at your local pharmacy or in our shop. If you insist in having something smelly you can also opt for an organic aloe vera cream. The aloe vera will also help revitalise your skin and speed up the healing process in cracks.

Diet

Your diet has a massive influence on your skin, again a lot of us forget that our skin the largest organ in our beautiful bodies, and that whatever we consume has a large influence on it. Lets see, why not substitute soda with a mix of organic apple juice and sparkling water, but even that please only drink in limits as the apple juice is acidic. You drink coffee or tea and don’t want to stop? Ok well that’s fine, just do yourself the favour and substitute the sugar or sweetener with honey. Honey has a lot of positive effects on your whole body, especially your skin. Back in the older ages, honey would be used on wounds to speed up the healing process. And it really worked!

I hope these 2 tips are a good start to make small changes in your life in order to improve your skin!
